IMPORTANT FOR 2027: Due to parking limitations and construction along Phillips Rd, 9K & 5K runners will be required to park at Mountain View Church and shuttle into the park. Aravaipa will provide the shuttles free of charge, and you will not need to pay the $10 entry fee.

Tour the foothills of the San Tan and Goldmine mountain ranges. The courses feature rolling single track trails through Saguaro cactus studded mountains and valleys. San Tan Mountain Regional Park is tucked away in the Southeast Valley. Discover this hidden jewel of mountains and trails in the desert!
Good to know
Remember the park now charges a $10 park entry fee per vehicle (new in 2026). Runners that are parked on Phillips Road will be charged $5 to walk into the park. . Please arrive early and have correct change (cash) available on race morning for a smooth entry process. Carpool to save!
/ Start Area NOTE for 2027: Due to the number of participants, we will be utilizing a shuttle for 5K & 9K runners from outside the park (recommending that 17K also shuttles as time permits). Please park at the Mountain View Church (4815 W Hunt Hwy, San Tan Valley, AZ 85142) from 7:00a-7:15am to catch the shuttle into the park. We will have an employee and signs there to assist with parking. The first bus will leave w
17K, 26K, and 50K runners will park at the main lot inside the park. We will have parking attendants available to assist. There is a pedestrian fee of $5 when walking up so please have payment ready and add in this extra time to your arrival so you aren’t late for your race!
The race courses will be well marked with orange ribbons with black polka dots. Trail junctions and turns will be marked with laminated signs. In addition, blue & white checkerboard plastic flagging will be hung to designate non-race or “WRONG WAY” trails. All runners are responsible for understanding the layout of the course.
