The Whiskey Basin Trail Runs take place in and around the mile-high City of Prescott, Arizona along the scenic Prescott Circle Trail which encompasses the entire town. The point to point 92-kilometer runs the entire circle loop starting and finishing at Watson Lake Park. The 60K and 33K* also run point to point along sections of the Prescott Circle Trail. All distances finish at Watson Lake with the majestic Granite Dell rock formation serving as the finish line view.
Also featured are the stunningly beautiful, equally tough 10K and Half-Marathon. With a fun mix of flat gravel paths, rocky scrambles, and winding single track, expect to be WOW'd by the variety and beauty of a course that highlights the Granite Dells and Watson Lake!

Start & Finish Location The start line and finish line for all races will be at Watson Lake Park. All runners will park in the large field parking just past the entry gate and walk to the main Ramada/Starting Area. Watson Lake 3101 Watson Lake Park Prescott, AZ 86301
The park charges a $5 park entry fee per vehicle. This fee is included in your registration this year to facilitate smooth entry by all runners. We will handle all parking permits for race day. You may pick up your park pass on Friday at packet pickup. Or on Saturday morning, park your car, and then get a park pass at registration. The park will have car counters so please make sure you have the pass displayed in you
Keep an eye out on the weather forecast. It is usually windy at Watson Lake. Please be prepared for the unexpected by packing an extra layer. There are course is exposed in areas so sunscreen, hat, extra water are encouraged for warmer days.
